John Dennehy is a teacher, writer, dreamer and traveler. He has spent most of his life in New York but more recently spent five years living and working in Latin America and Asia. He is finishing his first book, which is about life, love, revolution, and sneaking across South American borders.
Love Against Borders
When I graduated college, I was twenty-one and anxious to get out of New York and see the world. I accepted the first job I found: teaching English to children in a small mountain city in Ecuador. The ten-week assignment in a foreign land soon became my life and my home, and, as one may expect, there was a girl.
